11:34 am Sunday September 5 2456: At Sparkwitz
Everything was white, soggy, and humid. What on earth is going on? I thought. It was then, that I realized, I was on the ground. I quickly gained control of myself, and got up. I was on clouds. Huh? "What is happening?" I thought aloud.
"Welcome to Sparkwitz." It was Mungrath. "I teleported you" He looked at me smiling.
"Sparkwitz really! Were on Sparkwitz!" I said. Sparkwitz was the training world for the Sparkers. Nobody knew were it was, all anybody knew was that it was on clouds. Nobody knew if this whole Sparker or Sparkwitz thing was real or not, but it was. Here was the proof.
"Best. Day. Ever!" I screamed in delight. Then I looked at Mungrath. He was serious. "You know why you're here?" He asked.
Then I stopped. If I was here it would be for a reason. I thought for the reason, but could't think why. "I don't know ...." I finally said.
"You could be a potential Light Sparker." What on earth is that? I thought.
"A potential -- what Sparker?"
"Light Sparker, legend has it, that when evil will be destroyed, it would be through a light Sparker." Mungrath said, like it was the most simplest thing on earth.
"I'm very confused right now. their will be a time when evil will be destroyed? Sounds like a fairy tale."
Mungrath smiled. "Is anything right know less then a fairy tale?" He put his hand out, showing a castle full of floating cities, and ships. All this was behind them. My jaw dropped. "Right ...." I said, but -- "I don't see any ponies, or princesses or --" Mungrath rolled his eyes. "You've got a lot to learn." He said. "A lot to learn."
"Follow me" Mungrath said slowly. I did. We walked through the quartz, and gold courtyard. I saw a few Sparkers walking around, going somewhere. "These are Sparkers in training," Mungrath explained.
"In training?"
"Yes, Sparkwitz serves not only as the Sparkers headquarters, but also as a training place for young Sparkers." Mungrath continued. Then he stopped, and planted his feet were he was. I stopped. Then Mungrath slowly loo ked at me, his eyes determined. "Like you." He finally said. "No, no, no" I said "This must be a mistake."
"No mistake," he said turning away from me, and continued walking. "I've been sent to go to Bero, fifteen years ago. To watch over you. You're fifteen no?"
I stopped. "Ya -- yes" I said not sure were this was going. Mungrath put a hand on my shoulder. "You're family has great potential, every Sparker knows that. Even the DMF. Thats why they want to kill you, and you're family."
What? "The DMF is after me?" I panicked.
"Yes." Mungrath said sternly.
Wait. "Does that mean ..."
"Also yes, the people who killed you're parents, and who a saved you from, were both for the DMF"
"No...."
"I am hear to protect you." Mungrath said. "That is, until you learn how to use your power, of Light."
It hit me. This was real. I was serious. "When to we start training?" I said. Mungrath did't answer, he kept on walking through the courtyard. I followed him. Though the huge gold and white towers, through the springs of glowing mysteries light.
Then he stopped. "Were here"
"Were?" I said. I looked up. Then I saw it. We were at a huge palace, it must be floating hundreds of feet in the air. "How are we going to get their?" I asked.
"Simple." Mungrath said smiling. "We fly."
