Sunday September 5 2456: At Sparkwitz

Altilaris's Journal

11:34 am Sunday September 5 2456: At Sparkwitz

Everything was white, soggy, and humid. What on earth is going on? I thought. It was then, that I realized, I was on the ground. I quickly gained control of myself, and got up. I was on clouds. Huh? "What is happening?" I thought aloud.
"Welcome to Sparkwitz." It was Mungrath. "I teleported you" He looked at me smiling.
"Sparkwitz really! Were on Sparkwitz!" I said. Sparkwitz was the training world for the Sparkers. Nobody knew were it was, all anybody knew was that it was on clouds. Nobody knew if this whole Sparker or Sparkwitz thing was real or not, but it was. Here was the proof.
"Best. Day. Ever!" I screamed in delight. Then I looked at Mungrath. He was serious. "You know why you're here?" He asked.
Then I stopped. If I was here it would be for a reason. I thought for the reason, but could't think why. "I don't know ...." I finally said.
"You could be a potential Light Sparker." What on earth is that? I thought.
"A potential -- what Sparker?"
"Light Sparker, legend has it, that when evil will be destroyed, it would be through a light Sparker." Mungrath said, like it was the most simplest thing on earth.
"I'm very confused right now. their will be a time when evil will be destroyed? Sounds like a fairy tale."
Mungrath smiled. "Is anything right know less then a fairy tale?" He put his hand out, showing a castle full of floating cities, and ships. All this was behind them. My jaw dropped. "Right ...." I said, but -- "I don't see any ponies, or princesses or --" Mungrath rolled his eyes. "You've got a lot to learn." He said. "A lot to learn."
"Follow me" Mungrath said slowly. I did. We walked through the quartz, and gold courtyard. I saw a few Sparkers walking around, going somewhere. "These are Sparkers in training," Mungrath explained.
"In training?"
"Yes, Sparkwitz serves not only as the Sparkers headquarters, but also as a training place for young Sparkers." Mungrath continued. Then he stopped, and planted his feet were he was. I stopped. Then Mungrath slowly loo ked at me, his eyes determined. "Like you." He finally said. "No, no, no" I said "This must be a mistake."
"No mistake," he said turning away from me, and continued walking. "I've been sent to go to Bero, fifteen years ago. To watch over you. You're fifteen no?"
I stopped. "Ya -- yes" I said not sure were this was going. Mungrath put a hand on my shoulder. "You're family has great potential, every Sparker knows that. Even the DMF. Thats why they want to kill you, and you're family."
What? "The DMF is after me?" I panicked.
"Yes." Mungrath said sternly.
Wait. "Does that mean ..."
"Also yes, the people who killed you're parents, and who a saved you from, were both for the DMF"
"No...."
"I am hear to protect you." Mungrath said. "That is, until you learn how to use your power, of Light."
It hit me. This was real. I was serious. "When to we start training?" I said. Mungrath did't answer, he kept on walking through the courtyard. I followed him. Though the huge gold and white towers, through the springs of glowing mysteries light.
    Then he stopped. "Were here"
"Were?" I said. I looked up. Then I saw it. We were at a huge palace, it must be floating hundreds of feet in the air. "How are we going to get their?" I asked.
"Simple." Mungrath said smiling. "We fly."

Altilaris's Journal Sunday September 5 2456: How I was Saved

Altilaris's Journal

Sunday September 5 2456: How I was Saved

When I woke today, I found I was on a neatly made bed, with a few layers of silk sheets covering me, How did I get their? I don't know. I tried to think through how I ended up in this place. The last thing I remembered, was somebody throwing me into a dark place, and being scared.
Then I quickly jumped out of the bed, my blood turned icy cold. What if the person who threw me in that place was part of those murders? Then again, another thought came through my head, that calmed me down a little. If he was part of that band, I would be dead by now, and certainly, he would not lay me down on a bed. I looked around my surroundings, and found that I was in a small white room. No decorations, only a white door with a yellow handle.
I was at the edge of the room, behind me, was the bed that I was sleeping in, and to the left of me, their was a brown desk. A desk with a note. I gasped, quickly, I took the note into my sweaty, and shaking hands. My vision blurred a little, but only for brief a moment. The note read:
  Dear Altilaris,
I apologize for the surprise, but last night, as you may know, a band of men attacked, now, we do not know who these men were, all I know is that they killed your parents, and are now after you. I have saved you before they had a chance to lay hands on you.
I sighed a little, it sounded like the man who ran of with him, was a friend, but then again, this could be a trick. I read on.
I had to hide you, so a throw you into my dark seller, and when the danger passed. I brought you to my orphanage, their we could find you a new family.
- Good luck,
Mungrath
Realization surged through me, Mungrath, owned an orphanage in the middle of a big town called Nifir. He, must of brought me their. So I was in an orphanage. That made sense. Their was one problem though. I don't want to be in a orphanage. I planned to run away the first chance I got.
Suddenly, the door opened. A woman dressed in white, and wearing a gold, red badge, opened up the door, and read from a paper she was holding. "Altilaris Griminhake". That was me. She looked up at me. "Follow me" I problem would not have, but I saw what was on her hip. A brown stick, more then that. A Shocker.
I had heard stories of it. Whoever got hit by it, would be shocked for about five seconds, and then lay on the floor in pain. A nasty thing. I did't want that to happen to me. So I followed her.
She led me outside the room, to a marble table, their, about fifty kids were eating. I looked at the kids in disgust. They were all dirty, and smelly, most of them were snobby kids. Swearing at each other. Yelling. I was used to this in my small town, but what disgusted me was that the place seemed like it was a very fancy place. They probably could afford to take care of people here. But they did't.
"You will eat breakfast here." She said not even looking at me Only at her paper. I looked at her, so this was what it was like to be in an orphanage. I sat down, promising myself I will run away very, very soon.
The kids were more smellier then I thought. I quickly eat breakfast. It was Velister, a white creamy sauce, not as appetizing, but its food. I looked around and saw some people finishing their food. I watched to see what they were doing after that. Most of them, threw bowls at each other, but some went over and gave it to the lady dressed white. I dodged a bowl being thrown at me, and gave my bowl to the lady. She yelled at me, "Who do you think you are?"
"I--"
"Only some people get that privilege, and you are not one of them!" She slapped me. Time to run. I pushed her aside, and ran to the nearest window. I was going to smash it, and run.
The lady started yelling at the kids, but I did't care, I ran to the window. Then a kid tackled me. "Got him!" He yelled, and soon, everybody was on top of me. I started fighting for them to get off, but they were so many. The lady pulled out her Shocker, and started it up. Blue energy sizzled across the stick. She got ready to hit me.
Then the window crashed. Five of the clocked figures that killed my parents were their. My heart almost leaped out of my chest when I saw them. The kids started to run away, afraid. But, in their heap they tried and fell. They started yelling and screaming. I yelled at them to calm down. They did'nt listen. The lady turned off her Shocker, and ran. In my mess, I looked at the shards of glass hoping that they would somehow stab the clocked bullies. To my surprise, they did.
The kids got out of their heap, and ran away. I ran behind them, then, the clocked people recovered, one pointed at me, and my throat started to choke. My body started to shrivel up, and I yelled in pain.
I thought this was my end, thankfully it wasn't. The pain ended as soon as it came, and I heard somebody attacking the cloaked figures. I was about to run, when I saw who my savior was. Mungrath. This is the second time he saved me from those murders. I owed him my life. "Duck!" Mungrath told me. I did, he pointed a finger above my head, and then, everything went bright yellow, then white, then black. Until their was nothing.

Altilaris's Journal Series: Entry, 9/4/56 Sunday September 4 2456: The Doomed Day

Altilaris's Journal

Sunday September 4 2456*: The Doomed Day**

*This entry is not in the future, it is just the date in a different galaxy. This date: 2456 on planet Bero, was 394 years ago, the date now on Bero is 2850.

**Altilaris never named this entry, this is a name that I have added.

I seek to avenge my parents from their brutal murder! This is what I feel this journal should begin with. You see, I am not writing this journal merely for the sake of writing, or so people could find out more about me when I pass on. No. This is for me, to document all the important or suspicious events in my life so that one day, somehow, I will avenge my parents from their brutal murder.
This first entry is about how my parents were murdered.
It was a beautiful, warm day on Bero. Just like every day. I stared at the ridiculously tall, thick trees. Bero was fifty percent trees. The fact is, these trees are thousands of years old, and could never die. Due to the fact the Bero has so much of these tall, thick trees. It prevents most light from the sun. In order to solve the problem, Bero government planted Lytrons, small blue, and green plants that give off light.
Lytrons were actually a native of Norow. A water planet, It used to be a vacation sight for Bero residents, but now .... the underwater cities lay in rubble, the planet is currently taken over by the Dark Matter Force. DMF. At this moment they are the most feared organization. The only resistance against them, are the so-called Sparkers, a small mysterious group capable of producing magic. Nobody even knows much about them.
Over the past three years the DMF has caused so much destruction .... people are desperate now. Some people, like my uncle, Nim, had tried to join the Sparkers, since then, nobody heard of them. I am desperate to find my uncle Nim, maybe he could help. I don't know, I'm just writing down ideas. Things that are popping into my head.
Sighing, I sat down on some thick roots of a tree. What now? Our world is in peril, it's only a matter of time until Bero gets attacked. Then, we can't do anything about it. Bero has an army, but not anything close the the technology and magic the DMF has. We are finished.
Groaning, I got up and started to slowly shuffle to my home. When I got to the small village were I lived, I heard load noises coming behind me. I was a little frightened, I ran a little, then I looked behind me, and saw a band of dark cloaked figures running into peoples houses, leaving sounds of dying people into every house they came in. I was really scared, a ran as fast as my feet could take me. Then, one of the cloaked men looked at me, pointed, and yelled something to another one of the cloaked murders. Both men ran after me.
Plenty of frightening theories came into my mind. Perhaps, they were part the the Dark Matter Force, no, the DMF did't dress like that. Maybe they were a bunch of thief's trying to kill people, but then again, nobody would care to rob the poor village that he lived in. Their had to be another reason why they were here.
Either way, I did't care I was just scared. Would I survive this? I started running to my house. That was a big mistake. As soon as I charged into my home, the two cloaked figures looked directly at my surprised, and frightened parents, then, my mother and father died instantly. I held back a scream, and quickly hid inside a cupboard that was in my house. I knew it would do no use though.
The two cloaked figures, ran towards the cupboard, as soon as a thought it was the end, I heard a scream from another man whom I did not know. I heard him push the two murders away. Then he opened the cupboard, put me on his shoulders, and ran.
I started screaming and kicking, but the man was strong and well built, he ran so fast, that I could't tell were he was going. Before I knew it, he threw me into a dark place, and locked me in their. I was very, very scared. Too scared to scream.

Intro

Ok, don't ask me how I got this, just listen! I found Altilaris's journal. Don't ask. Who is he? I said don't ask questions! .... Well.... Okay fine. In order to understand who Altilaris is, and what he did I have to explain to you what the DMF: Dark Matter Force is.
Ok.... This would take a while I could explain more in depth in the other posts but what it is.... is ..... DMF in 10 words or less.... that's hard. Okay. Here we go. The DMF is a group trying to destroy the Sparkers. Please. Don't. Ask. Questions. But if you want to know more stay tuned every Sunday for a new post, I mean, entry from Altilaris's journal.
.... If I survive that long ..........
